Indonesia is struck by Crippling Multi-Dangers as they embrace the New Year.

It’s surprising how the natural disaster in the country of Indonesia caused tremendous damage. In view of this, after the 6.2-magnitude quake announced by BNPB spokesman Raditya Jati, more than 820 people have been injured and over 27,800 have fled their homes. In the mountains, some found shelter, while others went to crowded evacuation centers. In the West Sulawesi town of Mamuju, however, where a hospital was demolished and a shopping center lay in ruins, rescuers hauled bodies from beneath falling houses.

It is concerning that there was no number for how many people were saved given by the authorities, and the death toll from the earthquake could also rise. In addition, Ms. Dwikorita Karnawati, head of the Indonesian Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysical Agency, shared that potentially, another earthquake might cause a tsunami in the region, making it more intense and chaotic to think. In addition, earthquakes also hit Indonesia, straddling the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire. Looking back, a devastating 6.2-magnitude earthquake and the resulting tsunami struck the town of Palu in Sulawesi in 2018, killing thousands.
